I wrote this article for Our Truths/ Nuestras Verdades, a newsletter put out by Exhale, an after abortion counseling service. For it, I interviewed members of Sistas On The Rise, a group of teenage mothers engaged in activism and self growth.
Among the articles I've written, this is my favorite- the one that made me decide to pursue journalism. I don't know what's more exciting- seeing it in print (finally!) or the fact that it's translated into Spanish.
